Grain . Agronomy . Feed . Energy . Retail
In 1919, a group of 80 farmers in Winnebago County decided to help themselves to better incomes and greater security. They raised about two thousand dollars and formed Larsen Cooperative Company. Its purpose: to sell potatoes, ship livestock, and pool orders for feed and flour.
Today, Larsen Cooperative employs about 200 full- and part time employees and operates facilities in 20 Communities in northeast Wisconsin. Larsen Cooperatives annual sales are approximately $130 Million. Over the past 90+ years, our cooperative has grown beyond the yields and livestock our communities have been built upon. Today, Larsen Cooperative boasts a variety of divisions that serve all who call northeast Wisconsin home. No matter if your a large or small Farmer, an area buisness, or the local homeowner, we have a way to take care of you through one of our five main divisions.
In August 2012 voting members approved a merger with CHS Inc. September 1st 2012 Larsen Cooperative joined the CHS Country Ops family to better serve our patrons into the future.
